Free Play Time
Children can choose from the 9 activity centers; art, playdough; puzzles; learning games; theme related table activities (2); bikes; climbing center; play house; water, easel and puppets.
Snack Time
Parents are asked to send a class snack. Volunteer Calendar is by the sign-in book; when you help you bring snack, juice and serviettes. Cups are provided. Everyone is asked to help with playroom
supervision.
Co-operative Games
Learning numbers, colors, shapes and alphabet with use of various methods such as listening, matching and counting. Pre-printing skills are also practiced at this time.
Story Time
Stories related to the weekly theme. Children help count the days on the calendar and learn the days of the week, the weather and the seasons. Birthdays are also celebrated at this time. Songs, fingerplays and nursery rhymes are also a part of story time.
Gym and Music
Exercises, obstacle course, parachute games, active games, instruments, creative movement, and dance.
